SOMALIA, Mogadishu: In a handout photograph released by the African Union-United Nations Information Support Team 15 August, Ugandan soldiers serving with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) sort through a haul of munitions that were used by the extremist group Al Shabaab to make improvised explosive devices. AMISOM troops and Transitonal Federal Government (TFG) forces dislodged remnants of Al Shabaab from the site following the withdrawal of most of the extremist group's forces from the city ten days ago, discovering the bomb making facility at the former steel factory in northern Mogadishu which contained evidence that the group had used the site to manufacture improvised explosive devises, suicide vests and car bombs. An Israeli naval ship sails off the coast of Ashdod in the Mediterranean Sea, Israel, Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011. Suez Canal officials say two Iranian naval vessels have entered the strategic waterway en route for the Mediterranean Sea. Canal officials say the ships entered the canal  early Tuesday morning and are expected to reach the Mediterranean later in the day. Israel has made clear it views the passage as a provocation. Iranian officials say the ships are headed to Syria for a training mission. Damascus is close ally of Iran's hardline Islamic rulers and an arch foe of Israel.
